The third way is through Watcher Mages which spawn near areas with both Temporal Beacons and Abandoned Bookerys.

The encyclopedia in the game has sections on everything in the game. The information is great for learning more about what to do, and plan out runs. Books of Memories are used to unlock articles in the encyclopedia that tell you more info about the game.
How to grind Memory Fragments?
The best way to do this is by loading up on Bookerys. A Bookery changes to an abandoned Bookery when you exchange 20 cards. You can run through those 20 cards pretty quickly, and once you have collapsed the bookerys then you can start seeing Tomes. Tomes are pretty easy to defeat, and you shouldn’t have that much of a problem. I would keep it light on other buildings that spawn enemies, and instead focus on just these tomes.
