10 Pokemon Missing from Pokemon Legends Arceus

Pokemon Legends Arceus contains a lot of the most popular pokemon ever. However, the game has a lot of interesting exclusions, and this article will mention 10 that are mysteriously gone.

The game is about an ancient Sinnoh region, so a lot of Sinnoh Pokemon are included in the game. However, all of the original Sinnoh Pokemon are found in the game in some fashion.

Charizard

Charizard is the most iconic pokemon outside of Pikachu. Despite this, the Kanto starter does not appear in the game. Starter pokemon are very scarce in general, but in this game, you can catch a good amount of them. Despite this, the starters in the game are either the starting trio or the Sinnoh starters.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is one of the few pokemon games to not have Charizard.

Lapras

Lapras is a pokemon that would work well in this game. One of the most recognizable moments in the series is seeing Lapras on water, and approaching it to capture it. Lapras could be in one of the ice caves, or it could be out in the wild in the water. However, having a Lapras in the game that you can’t ride wouldn’t feel right.

Dragonite

The giant Dragonite in the original pokemon series is one of the more iconic episodes of the series. Pokemon Legends Arceus has a core feature that makes pokemon in the wild appear to be Giant. This seems like a match made in heaven. Despite this, the game doesn’t have a logical place to put this pokemon. However, it could fit loosely on the coastal area, but that is a stretch.

Quagsire

The game has a swamp area, but it still doesn’t have Wooper or Quagsire. Oddly, the Quagsire family of pokemon are seen quite a bit in the Sinnoh games. I adore this pokemon, and the two of them seem to be fan favorites.

Forretress

Only a few pokemon fall out of the trees in the game, and I think Forretress and Pineco would both be an interesting inclusion. Pinecones fall out of trees all of the time, and some of the trees in the game look like Pine trees.

Also, Forretress would fit pretty well in the mountain areas of the game.

Tyranitar

This is another pokemon that would just look cool as an Alpha. Tyranitar is the pokemon equivalent of Godzilla, and fighting it out in the wild would be incredible. The Alpha pokemon are all over the place when it comes to how scary they are. However, having a truly crazy kaiju monster attack would make the player panic.

Castform

Adding weather to the game, and not having the weather pokemon seems like a missed opportunity. Imagine catching a castform near the beginning, and seeing it change forms throughout the game. Despite this, it could be a hard sell to make, and it is a lot of work as the weather changes on a dime.

Stunfisk

I think it would be funny to have a pokemon that is a trap in the game. Maybe you are walking around the swamp, and all of a sudden a stunfisk attacks you. It is a really fun pokemon, and I think it is gaining more fans as the years go by.

Trevenant

Pokemon Legends Arceus has a haunted area in the game that is full of ghost pokemon. Despite this, they missed the opportunity to have ghost trees walking around to build a better atmosphere.

Wishiwashi

Alolan pokemon is one of the strongest groups of pokemon that have been created so hard. However, they are sparsely in the game. An alpha Wishiwashi sounds like a natural inclusion into the coastal area of the game.
